- Hydrogen Ready Boilers - which are both the most energy efficient of them all at 96% - Older Boilers only run at 60-70% efficient if they are over 25 years old. Over 20 years old: 75% efficient. Over 15 years old 80-85% efficient. So it is important to save money on your bills to have the newer technology.
